Dordt Hockey moved to 5-0 on the season Friday night with yet another win coming after regulation.  A Zach Espenson goal during the overtime period got the Defenders a 5-4 win on the road and avoided what would've been a fourth straight penalty shootout.

Coach Tyler Morgan had this to say about the Friday night performance:

We played a great game tonight. Everyone worked hard and kept the effort high. We continue to improve each game and are looking to build on this again tomorrow!

Stat Summary:
Lucas Van Berkel scored twice and picked up an assist. Andrew Benson and Mason Carrels each helped the Defender cause with a goal. Zach Espenson scored the overtime winner and grabbed 2 assists in regulation. Noah Wilmes assisted on 3 goals.

In total, Dordt had 53 shots on goal. Nebraska-Omaha had 23 shots on goal.
