(Monday, December 12; Sioux Center, Iowa) Jestine Megchelsen, a senior at Iowa Valley High School (Iowa), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender dance program.
"I am excited that Jestine has chosen to attend Dordt next year as well as be a part of our dance team. I first met Jestine in my junior high Dordt Discovery Days dance class, and since then I have enjoyed seeing her every summer at our high school dance camp! She has a bubbly and fun personality and I know that she will be a great fit for our team here at Dordt. I can't wait to see what she will all accomplish during her time here at Dordt University," said Dordt dance coach Mel Knobloch.
Jestine is from Marengo, Iowa. She plans to study environmental studies at Dordt University.
