(Tuesday, October 24; Sioux Center, Iowa) Analise Caldwell, a senior at Cherokee Washington High School (Iowa), has announced her intention to attend Dordt University and join the Defender dance program.
"I chose Dordt because Christ is evident in both academics and athletics. I want to be a part of a campus that loves and honors the Lord and Dordt University displays this wonderfully," said Caldwell. Â
Analise is the daughter of Jonathan and Yvonne Caldwell of Cherokee, Iowa. She plans to study
education and
Spanish.
"We are so excited to welcome Annalise to our dance program at Dordt next year! I loved getting to know her through our camp this summer and seeing her personality and work ethic really shine. I can tell that she will be a great fit for our team and I am excited to see what she will all bring to our program next year," said Dordt dance coach

Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) and the Mid-American Collegiate Hockey Association (MACHA).
U.S. News & World Report, Money Magazine, Forbes.com, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,500 students.Â
