(Wednesday, March 29; Sioux Center, Iowa) Kayla Lammers, a senior at Oostburg High School (Wisconsin), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender track and cross country programs.
"I am excited to welcome Kayla to our program," said Dordt cross country and assistant track coach Nate Wolf. "She is a great athlete with a strong work ethic. She will be a great teammate and has the potential to impact the team competitively this fall. Additionally, she is a fantastic fit for Dordt University. I look forward to working with her for the next four years."
Kayla is the daughter of Jeff and Brenda Lammers of Oostburg, Wisconsin. She plans to study education at Dordt.
Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition.
