(Wednesday, March 29; Sioux Center, Iowa) Shelby Harper, a senior at Sioux Center High School (Iowa), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender dance program.
Harper has been involved in dance since she was three years old and has been a studio and competition dancer at Robin's School of Dance. Harper has been a member of the Sioux Center High School Dance Team for four years.
"I chose to attend Dordt because of the amazing atmosphere that it has. Dordt feels like the place where I can not only receive an amazing education but also grow in my faith. Dordt values relationships and has a great sense of community. I am so excited to begin the next chapter of my life at Dordt," said Harper.
Shelby is the daughter of Jaymie and Kelly Harper of Sioux Center, Iowa. She plans to study education at Dordt.
Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) and the Mid-American Collegiate Hockey Association (MACHA).?
