Gosselink Chooses Dordt

(Wednesday, March 1; Sioux Center, Iowa) Ben Gosselink, a senior at Pella Christian High School (Iowa), has announced his intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender track and cross country programs.

Gosselink has personal bests of 17:25 on a 5,000 meter cross country course, 5:15 in the mile and 11:13 in the two-mile. He placed 10th at the state qualifying meet as a junior and helped Pella Christian to two state meet berths.

"When I came to Dordt University on my visit day I loved the energy and environment I saw. I liked seeing how engaged everyone was and I like the smaller size of the school, and, most of all, the community of the Christian school," said Gosselink.

Ben is the son of Todd and Barb Gosselink of Otley, Iowa. He plans to study engineering.
