The Dordt University women's track and field totaled 14 top 10 finishes and 29 personal best times / marks at the Mount Marty Invite held today at the Williams Field in Yankton, S.D.
Cassie Brandsma recorded the Defender highest finish as the senior tied for second in the high jump.
Bethany Ten Haken and the 4x100 relay both posted third place showings; Ten Haken ran a personal best time in the 1500m (4:59) while the relay team of
Bailey Beckman,
Eliana Kuperus,
Emily Wingert and
Allie Howerzyl crossed the finish line in 51.18.Â
The Defender throwers had one of their best days of the season with nine personal best marks and four top 10 finishes.
Jenna Gleason turned in the highest finish for the crew (5th in the hammer) while Gleason,
Maren Hettinga,
Lynne Tormoehlen and
Tara Horstman all had personal best marks in two events each.
Bailey Beckman continued her strong season with a personal best jump and sixth place finish in the long jump.
