(Wednesday, April 4; Sioux Center, Iowa) Nevaeh Sampson, a senior at MOC Floyd Valley High School (Iowa), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender dance program.
"I am very excited that Neveah has chosen to attend Dordt next year and be a part of our dance team. I have gotten to know her well from teaching her at the dance studio for several years, and she is a fun and sweet girl with a bubbly personality, that I know will fit in well with our team next year. She will be the third Sampson sister now to go through our program, and I am excited to see what she will bring to our team these next couple years!" said Dordt dance coach Mel Knobloch.
Sampson has 15 years of dance experience while at Robins School of Dance and one year with the MOC Floyd Valley dance team. She's also been a co-leader for a dance group at American Reformed Church.
"I chose Dordt because I fell in love with the atmosphere and people. I felt safe right away. I wanted a place where I could continue to grow my faith," said Sampson.
Nevaeh is the daughter of Brent and Teresa Sampson of Orange City, Iowa. She plans to study education at Dordt.
