The Defenders came up with plenty of goals. The first one being scored by freshman forward, Nate Lorenze. Lorenze was assisted by Connor Raiche and Mason Carrels. Isaac Baart netted his second of the year with a goal this afternoon, assisted by Noah Wilmes and Zach Espenson.Taylor De Jager didn't need any help as he scored the Defender's third goal of the game.

Jonah Weems scored his second in as many games and was assisted by Andrew Benson and Noah WIlmes. Alex Espenson got one to score the Defenders' fifth of the game. Lucas Van Berkel also scored unassisted. Noah Wilmes scored the final two goals for the Defenders and was assisted by Nate Lorenze, Griffin Lennes, and Alex Espenson.

The Defenders improve their record to 1-1-0 on the season and will be back in action Friday, September 29th in Sioux Center where they will take on Drake in a weekend series.
