Swim Commit | Mallory Warmka

(Tuesday, December 3; Sioux Center, Iowa) Mallory Warmka has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the swim program.

"We are extremely excited to have Mallory as our first commit of the 2025 class! She is a strong backstroke and freestyle swimming and has a great attitude! We look forward to helping her grow into a leadership role at Dordt," said Dordt swim coach Mason Youngblood.

Warmka has personal bests in the 100 backstroke of 1:11.95; 2:15.45 in the 200 freestyle, 2:34.30 in the 200 backstroke; 6:16.70 in the 500 freestyle and 13:08.70 in the 1,000 freestyle.

"The first thing I noticed about Dordt was how it centered its sports, education, and campus life around Christ; this was also evident in how welcoming, friendly, and intentional its students and faculty are. Dordt will provide the perfect atmosphere for me to continue to grow my loves for music and swimming for the glory of Christ in a community of fellow brothers and sisters in Christ who strive to do the same and with whom I will have the chance to foster deep, Godly friendships," said Warmka.

Mallory is the daughter of Jeff and Tess Warmka of Springfield, Virginia and she plans to study music education.
