The Dordt hockey team dropped a 7-2 decision to the FGCU Eagles in Fort Myers, Florida on Saturday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Defenders struggled on both sides as they were only able to put up 29 shots but allowed 64 from FGCU.
The Defenders first goal was scored by
Noah Wilmes who was assisted by
Levi Loken and
Rylan Veenstra.
Mason Spejcher netted Dordt's second goal of the evening, assisted by
Rylan Veenstra and
Andrew Benson.
Isaiah Van Noord came away 57 saves on 64 shots.
Dordt's record falls to 15-3-1 overall and will take the ice again against Missouri State on January 24 and 25.
