Men's Golf | Day One Complete In Kansas City

The Dordt Defender men's golf team is in 10th place after day one of the Virginia McCoy Fall Invitational at the National GC of Kansas City hosted by Park University.

The Defenders shot a first day total of 323 and trail the host school by five strokes and are just 12 strokes out of fifth place in a fairly compact field after 18 holes of play. Morningside shot a 292 to lead the individual race.

Dordt was led by Samual Wolfe with a 76 and he is tied for 15th in the field and Caleb Douma shot a 79 and is tied for 29th. Park's Charlie Santonsson shot a 68 and is three strokes in front of the individual race. 63 golfers make up the competition.
