Dordt was a 33-13 winner over Mount Marty on 25 and scored 33 unanswered points after giving up a game opening touchdown drive.   Midland was a 49-0 winner over Briar Cliff and was up 21-0 at halftime.

THE SERIES
Midland leads the series 12-5 and Dordt owns a 4-3 advantage in the last seven games. The visitor has won in all seven of those games and all but two of the games have been decided by one score or less.
 
Dordt was up 24-7 at halftime last season in the opener at Fremont and Dordt was up 38-7 midway through the fourth quarter before Midland scored a pair of late touchdowns.
