The Dordt Defender hockey team earned a 2-0 road win on Friday night, October 3, over the Arkansas Razorbacks to extend its winning streak to five games.

After two scoreless periods, Dordt broke through in the third when Rylan Veenstra scored on a tip from Preston Waage with 16:41 remaining. Later in the period, Reuben Horneman added insurance on a deflection of a Zach Espenson shot, with Colton Dureno credited with the second assist.

Goaltender Isaiah Van Noord stopped all 18 shots he faced to secure the shutout. Dordt held a 27-18 advantage in shots on goal and will face Arkansas again at the Jones Center on Saturday, October 4, at 3:15 p.m.
