The Dordt Defender men's golf team finished in sixth place after a second day round of 306 to end the Mustang Derby at Whispering Creek with a 618. Dordt entered the day in a three-way tie for fifth place and improved on its first day score of 312.

Dordt finished eight strokes behind Mount Mercy and one stroke ahead of Iowa Central to lock up sixth place in the 12-team field. Morningside won the event with a 292-292=584 and was 10 strokes better than Iowa Western's 300-294=594.
Joseph Wolfe and
Mason Harper each shot 75 to lead the Defenders on day two and
Samuel Wolfe shot a 77.
Samuel Wolfe had three birdies in his round and
Joseph Wolfe was -2 on the front nine.
Joseph Wolfe ended up in a tie for 16
th in the 36-hole event with a 77-75=152 over the two day event and
Caleb Douma went 75-79=154 to finish tied for 22
nd.
owa Western's William Welsh shot a 71-72=143 to win the event by two strokes over a pair of Morningside golfers (Dylan Welford and Ryan Cavanaugh).
