The Dordt dance program competed at the ISDTA Championships in Des Moines, Iowa on Thursday, December 4.

The Defenders competed in three categories and earned three Division 1 ratings with a pair of third place finishes in Jazz and Hip Hop.  The Defenders also entered the Pom competition.

Coach Mel Knobloch said: I am incredibly proud of all of our dancers. They poured so much hard work and determination into their dances, and they performed beautifully today. This is a great way to kick off our competitive season with the team, and I couldn't be happier!
