Box Score The Dordt Defender men's volleyball team was a 3-0 winner over Culver Stockton on Saturday afternoon in Canton, Missouri and split the two matches played over the weekend in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.

Dordt scored nine of the first ten points in set one and was never really challenged on the way to a 25-12 win in the initial set. The Defenders got the final point on a Cade Schmidt ace serve and never led by less than eight after the initial 9-1 start.

Dordt started fast in set two again and led 11-3 after a 4-0 run with Schmidt recording two aces in the run. Dordt kept Culver Stockton at bay the rest of the set and won 25-21 as Andres Guzman recorded a kill for the final point.

A 9-4 start led to a 14-7 Dordt lead with Kai Chapman recording an ace to cap a 3-0 run. Culver Stockton got as close as four at 17-13 and Dordt pushed back in front 23-16 before winning it on another Guzman kill.
