For the third straight contest the Dordt Defender hockey team had little challenge and won a one-sided contest in Lincoln, Nebraska against the Huskers in ACHA Division 3 action, 15-1. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
Dordt started the scoring win a Mason Spejcher goal off an assist by Levi Loken and Tristan Schlecter a couple minutes into the game and Nick Espenson followed with an unassisted goal.  Mason Carrels made it 3-0 off an assist by Isaac Baart and Colton Dureno  and Spejcher each scored before the end of the period.

The second period goals were bookended by Reuben Horneman finding the net and Zach Espenson, Rylan Veenstra and Loken also had goals as the lead ballooned to 10-1 after two periods.

Preston Waage scored the first goal of his career in the third period and Nick Espesnon added his second goal with Spejcher getting ahat trick with an assist by Horneman and Connor Perakslis. Ryler
Schelle put the finishing touches on the score with the fourth and final goal of the period.
