The Dordt Defender cheer and dance teams competed at the York Crown Invite on Friday night February 6.  The cheer team claimed 6th place with 74.97 points and the dance team was 9th with 78.88.  Full results are currently unavailable. 

Dordt will compete at Concordia on Saturday, February 7.

Coach Mel Knobloch said: "I was pleased with our performances today from our cheer and dance teams. Our cheer team was able to increase their scores by nearly 4 points from the last time they performed at our home invite, and our cheer team was able to receive their second highest score of the season, after coming off of a season high score just the night before. There are areas that we are excited to continue to try improving upon for tomorrow's competition, and we are excited for another opportunity to hit the floor again tomorrow and fight to bring home another set of good scores for the weekend."
