Dordt will face MidAmerica Nazarene in the Round of 16 on Thursday, March 19 in Sioux City, Iowa at the NAIA Women's Basketball National Championship. The game will tip off at 6pm with the winner advancing to the quarterfinal round of the bracket to be played on Saturday at 3pm. The Dordt/MidAmerica Nazarene winner will face the winner of St. Francis (Ind.)/Hastings.

The Pioneers pulled away in the fourth quarter for a 69-54 win over Saint Mary in the first round on Friday, March 13 in Olathe, Kansas. MidAmerica Nazarene had a 52-29 rebounding advantage and converted 15-16 free throws.

MidAmerica Nazarene used a 37-22 advantage in the middle quarters to beat Olivet Nazarene on Saturday in the second round. The Pioneers held the Tigers to 34 percent field goal shooting and had a 41-33 rebounding advantage. MidAmerica Nazarene also converted 56 percent of its field goals in the win.

Dordt was a 120-47 winner over Simpson on Friday night after taking a 13-0 lead to start the game and holding a 39-15 lead after one quarter.  The Defenders were up 73-20 at halftime and converted 63 percent of their field goals and had a 50-27 rebounding advantage. All 14 Defenders scored and four players hit double figures.

The Defenders handled Rocky Mountain 85-54 on March 14 in the second round and got out to a 26-14 lead in the first quarter and led 42-19 at halftime.
