The Dordt Defender women's golf team finished second at the Mustang Quad Invite on Monday, April 20 in Sioux City at Whispering Creek.

Dordt totaled a 339 on the 18-hole competition and was five strokes in front of Briar Cliff with Morningside winning the event with a 317.  Ashlee Sweeter and Jillian Eidsness both shot 81s to lead the Defenders and tied for fifth place. Ivanna Becerra-Diaz from Morningside had a 76 to claim medalist honors.

30 golfers made up the field in the final competition for the Defenders before playing for the GPAC Championship on Monday and Tuesday, April 27 and 28.
