(Wednesday, June 17; Sioux Center, Iowa) The 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's At-Large Teams, selected by the College Sports Communicators, have been announced. The teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom, and four Dordt athletes earned the distinction.

Caleb Douma (Sophomore; Sioux Center, Iowa),
Nicodemus Elliott (Senior; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma),
Cory Kuperus (Junior; Ireton, Iowa) and
Lance Vermeer (Junior; Plattsburg, Missouri) were named to the team for their academic and athletic accomplishments this year.
Douma was an all-conference selection in golf for the Defenders and posted a team-best 75.4 strokes-per-round average. He is studying criminal justice, maintains a 3.88 grade point average and was named to the Academic All-District Team.
Elliott is studying nursing and has a 3.56 grade point average. He averaged 1.55 kills per set with a .235 hitting percentage.
Kuperus averaged 1.05 kills per set this season with a .302 hitting percentage and averaged 1.18 blocks per set. He is an engineering major with a 3.74 grade point average.
Vermeer averaged 1.06 blocks per set and recorded 1.75 kills per set with a .361 hitting percentage. Vermeer graduated from Dordt in three years with a 3.74 grade point average while studying business administration.
To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must have attended their institution for at least one academic year, made significant contributions to their team, maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and been nominated by a College Sports Communicators member.
