The Defenders posted a team score of 333 (+45), finishing 13 strokes behind first-place Doane at 320. Clarke and Briar Cliff are tied for third at 336, followed by Dakota Wesleyan at 337.
Olivia Meyering led Dordt with a 5-over 77 and is fourth individually. Meyering made the turn at 38 and finished with a 39 on the back nine.
Chloe Attema shot 82 (+10) and is 13th, while
Ashlee Sweeter carded an 85 (+13) and sits 17th.
Avery Bunkers added an 89 (+17) and is 26th.
Maggie Domeyer shot 104 and was not included in the team score.
Dordt will play the second and final round of the tournament on Tuesday at Tatanka Golf Club.
