Beaver is in his first season as an assistant for the Defenders men's golf program. He currently serves as a PGA Teaching Professional at The Ridge Golf Club and the PGA Junior League Coach.
Beaver has been a member of the Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) since 2009 and was the Director of Golf at Emerald Falls in Broken Bow, Oklahaoma (2009-14) and most recently, at Landsmeer Golf Club in Orange City, Iowa (2015-22).
As a player, Beaver was a standout player for RHEMA Bible College where he won the 2005 United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Individual and Team Championships. He qualified for the PGA Professional Championship four years (2017-20).
Beaver and his wife, April, have two kids (Allison and Andrew).
