Before Dordt: Played for the Sioux City Metros and Sioux Center Storm during his high school career. Scored 36 goals with 48 assists in 32 games during the 2024-25 season. Led the league in assists, goals, and points, and established Sioux City single-season points and assists records. Ended his career in the top 10 all-time for single-season points in the Midwest High School Hockey League. Scored 14 goals and had 16 assists in 2023-24, winning both a regular season championship and a national championship.
