Trent Roose
Associate Athletic Director of Facilities and Operations
RESPONSIBILITIES
Trent Roose began his work at Dordt University in 2018. He has been in various roles including assistant baseball coach, director of event operations, assistant athletic director of facilities and operations, and director of the American State Bank Sports Complex. He also served as the interim director of athletics in the spring of 2024. He took on the role of associate athletic director of facilities and operations in 2023. Roose’s responsibilities include leadership of all athletic department facilities and operations.
WHY I DO WHAT I DO
In my role within the athletic department, I enjoy supporting each program to help develop our student-athletes holistically. I believe that athletics provides a platform for shaping character, building leadership skills, and reinforcing core values. It is a privilege to serve an institution that focuses on doing athletics in a distinctly Christian manner, committed to integrating faith in every aspect of the student-athlete experience.
