The Dordt Defenders fell 23-0 in GPAC football action on Saturday afternoon in Sioux Center, Iowa. The Raiders used an efficient offense to take a 14-0 lead at halftime and played keep away in the second half in forging the win.
Northwestern scored on an 11 play, 81 yard drive to start the game and added a 47 yard touchdown pass for a 14-0 lead that stood to halftime. Northwestern added to the lead with a 13 play, 78 yard drive in the third quarter and got a safety in the fourth period to make the final 23-0.
Dordt's best scoring chance came in the third quarter and
Zach Rozeboom completed a pass to
Hayden Large inside the 10 yard line but Dordt eventually turned the ball over on downs inside the five yard line.
