Game Time...A pair of impressive win streaks are on the line as the Dordt University women's soccer team plays host to the University of Jamestown in a conference showdown Wednesday night, Oct. 19, at the Defenders Soccer Complex. Game time is set for 5pm.
Both teams are among the top three teams in the current GPAC standings heading into the mid-week match. Dordt has won six consecutive matches, tied for the second longest win streak since 2009, and is in third place in the GPAC with a 6-2-1 record, 10-4-1 overall. Jamestown, one of two teams from the conference recognized in the NAIA Coaches' poll, has won eight straight matches and sits in first place in the standings with an 8-0 record, 9-4-1 overall.

All-Time...The rivalry between the teams could not get any closer as Dordt is 8-8 all-time against the Jimmies with both teams scoring 27 goals in their previous 16 games. The Defenders had the upper hand early in the rivalry, winning the first five matches played and eight of the first 10. Jamestown has had the edge of late, however, winning the last six, including both matches played last year.
