RECENTLY

The Defenders were in Fremont on Saturday, October 15 and lost a 25-23, 25-17, 25-11 decision with Ellie Voss leading Dordt with eight kills and Brenna Krommendyk and Riley Doenhoefer each had five kills along with Allison Timmermans. Makenna Kooima had 16 digs to lead Dordt and Sophie Johnson put up 14 assists and Voss was in on three block assists.

Jamestown was a 3-2 winner on Saturday over the College of Saint Mary by set scores of 25-17, 18-25, 24-26, 25-18, 15-12.  Anna Holen had 21 kills and 21 digs and Kalli Hegerle added 19 kills and Aleah Zieske put down 11 kills. Kalli Hegerle had 28 assists and Paige Oswald recorded 24.   Jamestown scored 18 points on blocks in the win and had a .290 kill efficiency.

THE SERIES

Jamestown leads the series 6-2 since 2018 and has won six in a row all by 3-1 scores.

This match is a resumption of a contest that was halted on September 17 due to a medical emergency.  At the time each team had won a set with Dordt taking set one 25-21 and Jamestown set two 26-24. Anna Holen has 12 kills and Logan Sherman five while Kalli Hegerle has 16 assists and Ellie Holen has 10 digs.   Ellie Voss and Isabella Cumana each have five kills while Brenna Krommendyk, Grace Langemeier and Allison Timmermans each have four kills.
