(Thursday, November 17, 2022; Sioux Center, Iowa) Levi Jaeger has announced his intention to attend Dordt University and join the Defender soccer program.
"I loved the environment on campus from the first time I visited as well as feeling like the soccer program would be a great fit for me. I believe Dordt will help me grow into the man God wants me to be," said Jaeger.
Jaeger has played for Christian Prep Academy (Kansas) and the Toca FC 2004 E64 Club. He was named his high school team's most valuable player and won the Golden Boot in 2021 and was part of the 2022 Heartland Champion and 2021 Midwest Regional League Champion teams.
"Levi is a phenomenal player and human being. We're excited to add him to our program and community. We look forward to watching Levi grow during his time at Dordt," said men's soccer coach Ryan Gresse.
Levi is the son of Erik and Genevieve Jaeger of Olathe, Kansas. He plans to study Psychology at Dordt.
Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) and the Mid-American Collegiate Hockey Association (MACHA).
U.S. News & World Report, Money Magazine, Forbes.com, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,500 students.
