RECENTLY

Oak Hills Christian lost to Crown College on November 22 by a 99-78 margin after trailing 58-34 at halftime. Deontray Anderson scored 30 on 12-18 field goal shooting and Quincy Olson added 23 points. The two combined for seven assists.  Crown converted 41-88 field goals in the win and had 27 offensive rebounds.

Northwestern beat Midland on Tuesday night by an 80-71 verdict after leading 35-26 at halftime. Dillon Carlson had for three-point shots and scored 25 points while Matt Onken had 24 points and nine rebounds. Craig Sterk added 18 points and nine rebounds as Northwestern was 31-59 from the field for 53 percent success and they had a 39-23 rebounding edge.

Governors State made it two wins in a row with a 75-70 win over Calumet on Saturday. The Jaguars were 28-56 from the field with Nick Makash scoring 18 on 6-9 three-point shooting. William Bates scored 16 off the bench as he made 7-8 field goals. Governors State made one more field goal and three, three-point shots more than Calumet to forge the win.

Dordt led most of the game and beat Briar Cliff 81-68 on Tuesday nigth. A 12-0 Dordt run gave the Defenders some breathing room to secure their first GPAC win of the season. Bryce Coppock scored 21 and Jacob Vis added 16 points with 11 rebounds.  Dordt made 8-16 three-point shots and 32-56 field goals in the win.

THE SERIES

Dordt leads the series with Oak Hills Christian 1-0 with the only meeting since 2017 happening on November 26, 2021 and Dordt won 120-59 behind Bryce Coppock and Jacob Vis with 17 and 16 points each and Trey Hinote scored 13 off the bench.   The Wolfpack was led by Deontray Anderson with 18 points and nine rebounds.

This will be the first meeting between Dordt and Governor's State. Dordt played in a classic hosted by Governor's State last season but did not play the Jaguars.

Dordt will be off until Saturday, December 3 when the Defenders travel to Fremont to face Midland.
