(Monday, December 12; Sioux Center, Iowa) Yura Rozendal, a senior at Calvin Christian High School (Michigan), has announced his intention to attend Dordt University and join the Defender soccer and track and field programs.
"We are excited to add Yura to our pole vault crew. He has the potential to be a very competitive college vaulter. He will be a great teammate and an excellent addition to the team," said track and field coach Craig Heynen.
Rozendal scored 46 career goals at Calvin Christian and had 15 assists. Rozendal earned first-team all-state honors in 2022 after scoring 31 goals with 10 assists and claimed all-district honors in both 2021 and 2022.
