Leinen Chooses Dordt

(Thursday, December 22; Sioux Center, Iowa) Stephen Leinen, a senior at Harlan High School (Iowa), has announced his intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender football program.

Leinen is a 6-0, 190 pound kicker and punter and averaged 37.4 yards per punt in 2022 and was 82-84 on point after tries as Harlan won a state title this season.

"I chose Dordt because I built a great relationship with all of the coaches. Also, I felt like the agriculture program that could advance my knowledge a lot in the field I want to do," said Leinen.

Stephen is the son of Darrel and Shayla Leinen of Harlan, Iowa. Leinen will study agriculture
