Game Time... The Dordt University women's soccer team will go for its first win of the season as they play host to Nebraska Wesleyan this weekend for their home opener. Game time is set for 1pm on Saturday, August 27 on the Defenders Soccer Complex.

Dordt brings an 0-2 record into the weekend match, having lost a pair of matches to NCAA D-II programs, Colorado Christian and Metro State. Saturday's match will be the first of the season for the visiting Prairie Wolves.

All-Time...Saturday's match will be the 22nd all-time between the two former Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) rivals. The series, which began in 1996, is completely even (10-10-1); however, Dordt has an 8-1-1 advantage in matches played on their home turf. Last year, Dordt earned a 4-0 win against NWU in Lincoln, Neb. in the first match played between the teams since 2015. Dordt is 4-6 in their last 10 matches vs NWU.
