Women's Soccer To Host Unbeaten Concordia In Mid-Week Match

Game time on the Defenders Soccer Complex is set for 5pm

Game Time...Fresh off its 1-0, shutout win against College of Saint Mary last weekend, the Dordt University women's soccer team goes for its second consecutive victory when they host unbeaten Concordia (Neb.) for a mid-week GPAC match. Game time on Wednesday, Sept. 21 is set for 5pm on the Defenders Soccer Complex. 

Dordt is 1-1 in the GPAC, 4-3 overal; Concordia is 1-0 in the conference and a perfect 6-0 overall. 
  • Follow the Game:
All-Time...Wednesday's match will be the 26th all-time in the rivalry between Dordt and Concordia with the Defenders holding a slight edge in the all-time series, 12-10-3. Dordt dominated the rivalry early, going 12-2 and outscoring the Bulldogs 45-17 in matches played from 1999-2010. Concordia has had the upper hand of late (since 2011), going unbeaten (8-0-3) in the last 11 matches against Dordt. The teams have played to a tie in two of the last three years, including last season when the match ended 1-1 in Seward, Neb.
