Game Time...The Dordt University women's soccer team heads to Fremont, Neb. this weekend for a tough road match in conference play against Midland. Saturday's match is set to start at 5pm on Heedum Field.
The Defenders are unbeaten in their last two matches and are 1-1-1 in the GPAC, 4-3-1 overall. Midland is in search of its first conference win of the season as the Warriors are 0-1-1 in the GPAC, 2-3-3 overall.Â
All-Time...The rivalry between Dordt and Midland began in the 1999 season and has been very even over the course of the 27 matches played. Dordt trails the all-time series 13-14 and is 6-9 in matches played in Fremont. Dordt held the advantage early in the rivalry, winning its first eight games against the Warriors. Midland, however, has had the edge most recently, winning six of the last seven.
Dordt's last win was a 1-0 road victory in 2020.
