Game Time... The Dordt University women's soccer team returns to its home pitch Wednesday night when they host Dakota Wesleyan for another conference match-up. Game time is set for 5pm. Dordt is currently in ninth place in the GPAC with a 1-2-1 record, 4-4-1 overall; the visiting Tigers are 0-3 in conference play, 2-4-1 overall.Â
Wednesday's game will conclude Latino Visit Day on Dordt's campus and LaTrailita will be serving food on site.
All-Time...Dordt is 10-5-1 all-time against Dakota Wesleyan dating back to the initial match played during the 2006 season. The Defenders have won five straight in the rivalry, four by one just one goal. Dakota Wesleyan last defeated the Defenders (1-0)Â in a match played in Mitchell, S.D.

Avril Baccam scored the game-winning goal during the 96th minute in leading Dordt to a 4-3, come-from-behind win against DWU last year in a match played in Mitchell, S.D. last season.Â
Down 3-1 at the half, Dordt scored three unanswered goals in the first 11 minutes of the second frame to take a 3-1 lead. The host Tigers, however, came back to score two goals, the final during the 72nd minute, to send the match into overtime tied 3-3. Baccam finished off DWU with the game-winner, scoring her second goal in the match.Â
