RECENTLY

The Defenders lost a 93-90 decision to Jamestown on Saturday, January 7 with the Jimmies getting late free throws to seal the win. Dordt got 35 points from Jacob Vis on 13-15 shooting and he had six rebounds and Bryce Coppock added 16 and Luke Rankin had 12 with four rebounds.

The Tigers trailed 33-20 at halftime with Briar Cliff and surrendered a 37-25 second half in Sioux City before falling 70-45. Brady Timm had 12 points while shooting 6-19 and David Masarenes had 10. Doane was limited to 19-55 shooting and held a 37-32 rebounding edge.

THE SERIES

Dordt and Doane have split their last 10 games since 2017.  Dordt won a 79-69 decision on February 12, 2022 after trailing 40-38 at halftime. Dordt outscored the Tigers 41-29 in the second half behind 26 points from Bryce Coppock and Cade Bleeker had 22 points and five rebounds.
