RECENTLY

The Chargers lost an 83-77 decision to Jamestown on the road on Wednesday night after leading 37-35 at halftime. Jaden Kleinhesselink scored 30 on 12-15 shooting and he made 4-4 three-point shots with eight rebounds. Conner Groves scored 15 and had three assists. Briar Cliff was 32-59 from the field and 11-24 from the arc but converted just 2-4 free throws. Jamestown got to the free throw line for 23-24 success and 25-55 field goal shooting.  Briar Cliff had a 35-23 rebounding advantage.

The Defenders led Doane 48-44 at halftime but were outscored 53-26 in the second half before losing 97-74. Bryce Coppock scored 17 and Jacob Vis had 15 with six rebounds. Cade Bleeker chipped in with 13 and Lucas Lorenzen scored 11.  Dordt was 27-63 from the field but Doane was 40-66 and had a 35-31 rebounding advantage.

Dordt leads the series 8-4 since the 2017-18 season and the Defenders have won seven of the last eight meetings including an 81-68 decision on November 22. Bryce Coppock scored 21 and Jacob Vis had 16 in the win while Briar Cliff was topped by Conner Groves and Kyle Boerhave with 15 and 11 each.
