Dordt

• Dordt is off to an 13-0 start this season.  The start is the best 13 game start in program history.
• Karly Gustafson: 1,200 career points (10^th all-time) and trails Jacque Van Leeuwen's (1982-86) 1246.
• Bailey Beckman: 1,154 career points (11^th all-time), 148 made 3pt fg is 6^th all-time behind Danelle Boone's (2010-14) with 155. Carla Geylense is 11^th all-time in scoring  1,173.
• Bill Harmsen is 101-41 coaching Dordt and is in his fifth season…70.2 winning % is best in program history. 101 wins is 3^rd all-time at Dordt.

RECENTLY

Grande View last played on December 17 and was a 79-68 winner. Ellie Rengstrof scored 21and Isabel Gscheidle added 18. Ella Larsen was 9-10 from the free throw line and scored 11 while Anna Gossling came off the bench to score nine.

Two 15-0 runs early in the game led the way to an 85-53 win for Dordt over Mount Marty on Saturday, December 31. Bailey Beckman scored 21 and Karly Gustafson had 17 points and six rebounds. Janie Schoonhoven added 14 points and 11 rebounds as Schoonhoven and Gustafson combined for 11-13 shooting from the field and Macy Sievers came off the bench to score nine and hand out 10 assists.

THE SERIES

The two teams have played twice since 2017.  Last year's meeting in Des Moines was won by the Vikings 82-66 on October 28, 2021. Ashtyn Veerbeek scored 35 in the loss while Shannon Pisney scored 23 and McKenna Monahan had 22.  Dordt was limited to 35 percent field goal shooting while Grand View made 43 percent of its field goals and 32 percent of its three-point shots.
