RECENTLY

The Defenders used an 18-0 run in the second quarter to build a 41-15 halftime lead on the way to an 81-46 victory at the College of Saint Mary on Thursday night. Dordt was led by Janie Schoonhoven's 20 points and nine rebounds while Bailey Beckman had 13 points. Karly Gustafson scored 12 points with 12 rebounds and had four assists and Faith Van Holland added six points on two-three point field goals and Macey Nielson was 3-4 from the arc. Macy Sievers added eight rebounds with three assists and four steals.

Mount Marty tripped the Warriors 63-55 on Thursday night in Fremont to keep Midland winless at home this season. Erin Prusa scored 16 and Sam Shepard had 13.  Emma Shepard scored nine with two rebounds and two assists.

THE SERIES

Dordt leads the series 8-3 since the 2017-18 season and has won two in a row.  Dordt was up 37-36 at halftime on December 3, 2022 before going on a 47-27 second half run. Karly Gustafson had 22 points and five rebounds and Bailey Beckman scored 18. Janie Schoonhoven and Faith Van Holland each had eight and Schoonhoven grabbed 11 rebounds. Macy Sievers had nine points and six assists.
