HOW IT HAPPENED

Northwestern maintained the lead to 32-28 when Connor Millikan and Bryce Coppock made free throws to tie the game. The two teams exchanged three-point baskets for a 35-35 tie. Coppock made two more free throws for Dordt for a brief lead and Alex Van Kalsbeek scored a layup at the horn to knot it at 37-37.

Dordt rallied to within 58-55 on a Coppock basket with 8:46 remaining but Northwestern went on a 9-0 run to effectively put the game out of reach and won by the 17-point margin.
