The Dordt University Defenders hockey team will host the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers for their final home series of the 2023-24 season. The Defenders come in on top of the MD3 MACHA Silver Central Division with a record of 12-3-0 and 35 points. The Cornhuskers find themselves at 4th in the division with a record of 5-9-3 and 21 points.

This is the second meeting of the season between the Huskers and the Defenders. The Defenders swept the series on November 3 and 4 when they played in Lincoln, Neb. with a 4-3 overtime win and 6-1 win. This will be the 21st meeting between these two teams and the Defenders find themselves trailing all-time 4-16.
