Game Time: 
  • The 2023 GPAC Women's Soccer Championship match is set...the Dordt University women's soccer will play Midland for the GPAC postseason tournament title on Friday night, Nov.10 in Fremont, Neb. Game time on Heedum Field is set for 7pm. 
  • Dordt, the the No.4 seed, is 12-5-2 this season; Midland, the No.3 seed, is 12-4-4.

At Stake:
  •  The winner of the GPAC tournament will advance to the NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship Opening Round as the league's second automatic representative. Hastings, the No.1 seed, has already secured the GPAC's first bid into the NAIA Championship by winning the regular season title.  
  • The NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship - Opening Round will be played at different host sites around the country on Nov.16-18. The 10 winners from the opening round brackets advance to play at the championship final site - Foley, Ala. - beginning Nov.27.
Tournament History:
  • Dordt has qualified for eight consecutive and 20 of 24 overall GPAC postseason tournaments (since the GPAC began in 2000). They hold a 13-19 overall record in the postseason and have made it to the conference title match four times, going 1-3 in the championship match (winning the title in 2008).
  • The Defenders earned their first postseason win since 2010 in last Thursday's quarterfinal match against Morningside.
