(Friday, December 15; Sioux Center, Iowa) The Victory Sports Network has released the 2023 NAIA Football All-America team and individual awards for the season and Dordt has five athletes on the lists.

Parker Beck (Senior; Spirit Lake, Iowa) earned first-team honors after anchoring the Defender offensive line as it paved the way for 249 yards per game which was third in the NAIA. 

Stephen Leinen (Freshman; Harlan, Iowa) earned second-team honors while converting 9-11 field goals with six field goals made from over 40 yards and he had a school record 58 yard field goal.  He also converted 42-43 point after tries.

Jessup Leakey (Senior; Independence, Missouri) and Abraham Stoesz (Senior; Mountain Lake, Minnesota) both earned spots on the third-team defense unit. Leakey had 19 solo and eight assisted tackles for the Defenders this season with four quarterback sacks and a pick-six.  He ends his career with 10.5 sacks and was part of a team that allowed just 86.7 rushing yards per game and 13.6 points per game. Stoesz started all 12 games for the Defenders at safety and had 35 solo and 30 assisted tackles with 5.5 tackles for loss with a sack and two interceptions.

Drew Daum (Senior; McCook, Nebraska) earned honorable mention accolades while recording 26 solo tackles and 30 assisted stops. He had 13 tackles for loss and 7.5 quarterback sacks.

The VSN NAIA Football All-American teams are compiled by Jason Dannelly of the Victory Sports Network. Nominations are taken from each all-conference team in the NAIA.
