A shot at the horn gave Northwestern its only lead of the second half in an 88-87 win over Dordt on Wednesday night in Orange City. Northwestern held two one-point leads in the game, one at 5-4 and the other as the horn sounded as the Defenders slid to 13-6 in the league and 21-6 overall.
Northwestern took a 5-4 lead early in the game but three straight three-point shots by 
Jacob Vis and 
Lucas Lorenzen and a two-point basket by Vis gave Dordt a 15-5 lead. Northwestern trimmed away at the lead but Dordt managed to maintain at least a four point lead the rest of the half and was up 44-38 at the break.
Northwestern outscored Dordt to start the second half 11-6 to get within 50-49 but 
Luke Rankin's three-point shot stretched the difference back to four. Free throws by Rankin eventual gave Dordt a 61-54 lead with 13:44 left but Northwestern rallied to tie the score 69-69 with 7:20 left. Lorenzen had a three and 
Bryce Coppock's two free throws pushed the difference back to 74-69.  The score was tied again at 77-77 with Lorenzen and Coppock baking back to back baskets for the 81-77 lead with 3:13 left.
Dordt was still up four with 2:27 left after Jake Vis made two free throws but the Raiders eventually tied the game with Dillon Carlson converting a shot in the paint with :36 left in the game.  Dordt worked the clock down and with :05 left 
Bryce Coppock converted a free throw line jump shot for n 87-85 lead.  Northwestern brought the ball up the floor and called a timeout with :01 left in the game. After two timeouts the Raiders inbounded in front of their bench and Craig Sterk got free for a 25 foot shot that gave Northwestern the win and stopped the Dordt winning streak at five.

	- Dordt was 32-61 from the field and 7-19 from the arc with 16-21 success from the free throw line.
- Dordt had a 29-28 rebounding edge and committed five turnovers while forcing seven.
- Northwestern was 33-58 from the field and 14-23 from the arc and made 8-10 free throws.
