RECENTLY

Dordt beat Ottawa on Saturday, February 18 with a 25-21, 25-16, 25-22 victory to get through the first half of the GPAC season with a 4-1 record. Caleb Kulesza and Andres Guzman each had 12 kills and Lukas Van Groningen had 29 assists. Guzman also had six ace serves and Luke Nelson had four block assists.
Graceland beat Kansas Wesleyan on February 18 25-11, 25-17, 25-20 in a match played at Lamoni, Iowa. Justin Burras and Viet Nguyen each had five kills and Colin Lindo and Jalen Watt accounted for four kills each. Marcus Taylor put up 16 assists.
Central Christian lost to Missouri Valley on February 22 by set scores of 25-15, 25-17, 25-16. Campbell had six kills and Joel Creary had three with DeBerry putting up 10 assists.

THE SERIES

Dordt has a 4-0 record against Kansas Wesleyan and won the last meeting of the two on February 10 in a non-conference match at Jamestown, North Dakota by set scores of 25-22, 25-19, 25-22. Caleb Kulesza had 12 kills and Brady Frost added eight with Andres Guzman put down seven kills. Kulesza recorded four service aces and Robert Piekarz recorded 13 digs in the win.
Dordt owns a 3-0 series edge on Central Christian with a 25-10, 25-5, 25-15 victory coming in the most recent match of the two on January 26. Kulesza had 14 kills for the Defenders while Brady Frost had nine and Van Groningen put up 29 assists. Kulesza and Nelson were both in on four block assists and Piekarz had 10 digs to go with four service aces.

NEXT

Dordt is scheduled to host Jamestown on Thursday, March 2 at 7:00 and will depart for California later that weekend and is scheduled to play five matches on the trip. Dordt doesn't return home again until March 22.
