Strickfaden Joins Defender Football

(Thursday, January 5; Sioux Center, Iowa) Noah Strickfaden, a senior at Central High School (Minnesota), has announced his intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender football program.  

Strickfaden completed 179-306 passes for 2,257 yards and 27 touchdowns this season while running for seven touchdowns and 410 yards on 52 attempts. Over the course of his career he had 5,777 total yards with 71 touchdowns.  He was a 2022 and 2021 South Central All-District selection and earned 2020 Honorable Mention honors.  He was the 2022 District's Offensive Player of the Year and earned Class 2AA Academic All-State honors and he was chosen as the South Team's quarterback in the Minnesota High School Football All-Star Game held on December 10.  

"I chose to attend Dordt because of the coaches and how much they will pour into their players to make sure they succeed on and off the football field," said Strickfaden. 

Noah is the son of Kyle and Sara Strickfaden of Norwood Young America, Minnesota. He plans to study business administration at Dordt.    

Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) and the Mid-American Collegiate Hockey Association (MACHA).?  

U.S. News & World Report, Money Magazine, Forbes.com, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,500 students.
