In December, Dordt got a split with Nebraska. dropping the first game 1-0 and then winning the second 4-3 in a shootout. In January, the Defenders went 0-2 against the University of Missouri (ranked #24 at that time), losing 4-1 in the first, and taking a 4-4 overtime loss in the second.
