RECENTLY

Hastings was in Florida last week and played its last games on March 14 when the Broncos lost to Aquinas 5-2 and 3-1.  Caden Holm took the loss in the 5-2 decision while allowing no earned runs in four and a third innings of work.

Dordt held on to defeat Warner on March 13 in Florida 6-5 in a scheduled nine inning battle. Dordt held on as Warner scored five in the bottom of the eighth and had the bases loaded with two outs in the ninth before the final out was recorded on a flyout to the fence in centerfield.

THE SERIES

Dordt and Hastings have split their last eight meetings with Dordt prevailing on March 26, 2022 by scores of 3-1 and 5-2. In the 5-2 decision Logan Horne was the winning pitcher with four strikeouts and he worked six and a third innings. Dordt got a 3-1 win in 11 innings in the second game with Gyeongju Kim striking out 21 batters in the complete game win. Luke November had four hits in the win and Anthony Rodriguez totaled three hits.
